NHEG’s Renewed Partnership with izzit
New Heights Educational Group (NHEG) announces expansion of its 12+ year partnership with izzit.org a educational nonprofit for both students and teachers.
Who is izzit.org?
izzit.org believes that education can enhance the power of individuals to solve problems for themselves, their families, communities, and society at large. To solve problems, people need knowledge and skills:
- Critical-thinking skills, research skills, knowing how, when, and what questions to ask to dig
deeper and gain understanding—question everything! - Scientific methodology.
- Civil discourse skills—Empowering students with civil discourse skills allows them to become better leaders for our future. Teaching them that the ability to listen to and respectfully discuss and debate with others, especially those who hold views contrary to their own, builds that foundation.
Other important ideas:
- The rights of all individuals matter equally.
- Voluntary association—no coercion.
- Do no harm to others.
- The rule of law—applied equally to all.
The more people are free to make their own decisions about their lives, and to direct them in a manner they wish, the greater their happiness. izzit.org is an educational initiative of the Free To Choose Network, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit producer of television documentaries.
Pamela Clark, Executive Director of NHEG, stated, “We have been partners with izzit.org for many years. We will now share access to their educational videos, courses, teachable moments, tools, ebooks and more on the following webpage. All of these are free to implement. We value what izzit.org offers and are proud of our partnership with them. Our partnership is another way that we can offer free educational options to parents and families.” https://School.NewHeightsEducation.org/online-courses/discounted-and-free-online-classes/
