#GivingTuesday’s Interview with Pamela Clark
Read the interview below to learn more about what inspires Pamela to give.
How do you give back?
I promote education and culture of respect for fellow human beings through my foundation, New Heights Educational Group, Inc.
What inspired you to start giving?
I feel that giving back to the community is my calling and something I’m very passionate about.
What does giving mean to you?
We say that children are the future, but there are a number of obstacles in raising children. When I saw these hurdles and families struggling, I knew that someone needed to take a stand. This is when I decided to start offering educational resources for everyone regardless of their beliefs and school choice.
What would you tell others who are looking to start giving back?
If you have a skill or talent, then you should consider volunteering. Find a cause that you care about and help out to advance that cause. It will not only help you build your resume, but also your skills. Volunteering/Giving back will also give you a lot of satisfaction.
Please share a favorite moment or story from when you volunteered or donated to an organization.
I feel very satisfied whenever I work with a family or student that was on the verge of giving up. When they start to believe it’s an incredible moment, I know that I have contributed to giving them hope. When we start to see growth, that just makes the work very rewarding.
