The New Heights Educational Group, an award-winning nonprofit organization in Ohio, has released its second book – the first publication in our Unraveling series which aims to provide academic instruction in core subjects. Unraveling Reading, written by Daniela Silva from Brazil, is now available on Amazon and Kindle. This guide was created in response to the needs and challenges expressed by parents, students and teachers with respect to literacy and education. Unraveling Reading presents strategies and alternative learning methods for developing reading and writing in children, youth and adults.
Every brain processes information differently, and Unraveling Reading addresses three of these standard learning styles. Through practical educational activities, teachers and tutors are instructed on how to reach students in visual, auditory and kinesthetic approaches.
Unraveling Reading also includes instructional activities that improve reading and writing skills through movement called the Brain Gym technique. The Unraveling series will expand in coming years, offering more instructional tips and techniques in various subject matters in which to effectively reach students.
