The live course for the Beginning Japanese course will start on Tuesday,November 27, and Thursday, November 29, from 4:30 p.m. EST· 5:30 p.m. EST. It will include greetings and addressing others, a weekly vocabulary list and dialogue to practice with basic grammar to practice for forming sentences like questions, expressing interests and so much more. This class is a great beginning course for students who wants to learn Japanese but don’t know where to start.

The pre-recorded course will introduce the Japanese writing system and the three scripts used: Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. It will have step-by-step guides on how to write Hiragana and Katakana. This course is great for a self-motivated beginning student who wants to learn to read and write the basic phonetic scripts correctly before moving on to Kanji or further his or her Japanese study.  Taken together, the live course and pre-recorded writing course will provide beginning students of Japanese with a 3D knowledge of the language. It’s a great foundation for achieving Japanese language study goals.

The Advanced course will start on Monday November 26, from 4:30 p.m. EST-5:30 p.m. EST and will build on material introduced in the beginning class, as well as move toward more complicated grammar to express personal preferences and build more complicated phrases. Cultural knowledge and multiple, nuanced ways to express similar ideas will be also introduced.

Both courses last 10 weeks, but there will be time off during Christmas. Her 10-week beginning course takes place for an hour twice a week, and the advance course takes place for an hour once a week. Both courses will be open fo r middle school students to adult students.
