Welcome Dr. Kristy Taylor

Dr. Kristy Taylor Bio

Dr. Kristy Taylor, DHSc, MHS, is a professor at Palm Beach State College, and consultant with over 15 years of experience working in healthcare and education. She is a former healthcare administrator for the United States Air Force and received her bachelor’s degree in Management and Human Resources from Park University. She holds a doctorate degree in Health Science and Global Health from A.T. Still University and a Master of Health Science from Trident University International. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Texas prior to assuming her current position as a professor of Health Science. She has held numerous leadership roles in education, including as a military technical training instructor, department chairman and interim campus dean. Dr. Taylor is passionate about education, mentoring youth, impacting policy and community-based learning. She has a proven track record of successfully empowering individuals and teams through effective coaching, feedback, mentoring, fostering creativity and rewarding efforts.
